Hairline scratches, which deteriorate the surface of the lens, are the result of constant manipulation. HC2 hard coat 2-sided is chemically bonded to the lens substrate; it affords the highest level of scratch protection, significantly prolonging the life of your glasses.
A high quality thermally cured dip-hardcoat offers premium scratch resistance and provides the most durable ingredient for an AR coating application. Plastic lens materials scratch more easily than glass materials, and therefore benefit greatly with the application of a durable hardcoat.
